Don't worry: no pretentious billionaires here. Just remember which waterway this particular yacht club claims to service, and you'll get an idea of the down-home atmosphere at this al fresco spot. Chalkboards serve as menus for the prodigious beer and wine list (no hard liquor here), and a posting of bar rules emphasizes decorum, but in a way infinitely more tongue-in-cheek than Milk & Honey's famous list. Gowanus Yacht Club is a perfect summer swilling space, and even has cheap burgers, dogs, and sandwiches to keep patrons sated.
