Since his days on The State, Michael Showalter has come to embody the Park Slope everyman, using his iPod as a comedic prop and recounting hilarious mishaps with prescription pharmaceuticals. While The Baxter has yet to launch him into international superstardom, Showalter still has a legion of googly-eyed girls swooning all over south Brooklyn. Tonight, he appears on his home turf with fellow Brooklynite Eugene Mirman, the man behind such absurdist YouTube video comments as "pot makes you grow a second dick" and, "when I was a kid, I f*cked a bag of butter."
