With its low cost of living and thriving creative community, Berlin is so often compared to yesterday's New York that the juxtaposition is becoming a cliché in the press. At Brooklynite Gallery, Time Machine examines this seemingly unavoidable comparison with work from three street artists — Dain, a native New Yorker, and two Berliners, Various and Gould — that recalls the underground pieces that came out of New York in the '60s, '70s, and '80s.
