New York-centric blog franchise Gothamist dives into CMJ with its well-curated concert series, held this year at Brooklyn's gorgeous new Bell House. The show is free, and the lineup features indie-rock acts from both near and far, including Alabamans Wild Sweet Orange, spazzy DC/Philly piano-pluckers Jukebox the Ghost, and Brooklyn's smoky-voiced Americana crooner Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson. A note to those who like to show up fashionably late: all Gothamist House shows are from 2-7pm, so if you arrive in the evening, you may miss the show completely.
