BAM celebrates Halloween with two bands inspired by the dark, swirling sounds of Balkan music. Brooklyn's Luminescent Orchestrii incite frenzied dancing with their hard-charging gypsy punk, while the Café Antarsia Ensemble wraps singer/songwriter Ruth Margraff's delicate melodies in swaths of hypnotic guitar. Whether raising hell or causing shivers, tonight's musicians offer a cross-cultural spin on fright-night merriment.
