This is it, kids: the big yearly to-do thrown by Brooklyn's cherished cabaret punks, the World/Inferno Friendship Society. The merry group of goofy troubadours (featuring members of the Hold Steady, Jollyship the Whiz-Bang, and Dresden Dolls) mixes epic tales of Weimar Germany, wild parties, ghouls, ghosts, and Peter Lorre with big band, klezmer, and circus elements. The rotating cast is made up of guest collaborators and mainstay fire-breathers alike, turning the Masonic Temple into a rowdy, bewitching party.
