Parisian artist C215 has been peeking from the shadows on a cross-continental level, and he's ready for his first stateside solo show with Junk Store. From Brazilian favelas to Indian streets and Brooklyn post-boxes, his haunting portraits are inescapable. A fan of site-specific installation, the artist uses each angle as an ideal opportunity to cast a subtle political nod to true street life via the indelible eyes of his refugees and street kids. Expect to see works on everything from luggage to wood panels, depicting those that C215 encountered in his global voyages to beautify and shed light on the darkest corners of urbanity.
