A cofounder of the pleasingly freaky electronic-music label Tigersushi, Parisian Joakim Bouaziz also cultivates his own delightfully wobbly, colorful production aesthetic. Performing cuts tonight from his 2007 album Monsters and Silly Songs, Bouaziz ties the live-band performance together with disco, rock, piano, and oddball pop elements, all steeped in a deep knowledge of dance music, psychedelia, and colorful French obscurities.
