Located not far from Park Slope's sleepy preschool nexus, the gothic, stained-glass Montauk Club feels like a time machine built for neo-royalty. Appropriately, a dandy Victorian dress code is requested in honor of tonight's theme: Bertolt Brecht's The Threepenny Opera (Die Dreigroschenoper). Cabaret-creative host, Dances of Vice, turns the tables on the prudish turn-of-the-century era with wild stage antics and an all-night dance party. There are two floors of revelry, include cheeky vocalist Isengart, his jazzy backing band Grandpa Musselman & His Syncopators, and a slew of visual art presentations.
