More than ever, food represents our values, culture, and identities just as much as painting, literature, or film. Tonight, Monkey Town hosts a six-course meal with Dine on Design, a collective focused on creative, dining-oriented design. Here, fine dining is conceptual art, prog rock, and architecture rolled into one, attending to the same priorities — experimentation, politics, and subversion — that motivate its designs. Some of Dine on Design's ideas are more practical than others, but all offer tasty new possibilities for a culinary culture of the future.
