From Patton Oswalt to Weezer and Stephen Colbert, folks have been embracing their nerddom and copping to being a Dungeon Master. Of course, there's one problem with staying up all night in your parents' shag-carpeted rec room, listening to This Mortal Coil until dawn: no girls. Tonight, however, children's writing center 826NYC throws open the doors to its Superhero Store in Park Slope for a most epic battle, in which girls play for free. (If that doesn't attract a few ladies, maybe the provided Pepsi and Doritos will.) Money from registration fees and from the purchase of spells and weapons all goes to the center. Don't forget your 12-sided die.
