Although it's summer, this gig at Greenpoint venue Don Pedro's might make you think of Halloween: disguised as a mellow Monday-night event, the show features Puerto Rican garage-punk outfit Davila 666, who trick you with sweet melodies and treat you to a high-energy performance that, according to the group, is like "Menudo on lots of drugs." After the idea for the band came to him in a dream, lead singer (and former rapper) Carlitos masterminded a Latin Ramones with matching last names, a trademark fashion sense, and a party-starting rep. Brooklyn punks Ex-Humans and Vilent Lovers Club bring their frenetic styles and show how we get down in our own backyard.
