In addition to having the best song titles in the business (e.g., "Details On How To Get ICEMAN On Your License Plate" and "Fire Back About Your New Baby’s Sex"), Don Caballero also make pretty impressive post-rock. Their uber-complex jams are full of interlocking guitar and bass melodies and mathy, often jazzy drums. Since disbanding after the release of 2000's exquisite American Don, the Don's core has gone two directions, with Ian Williams helping to found Battles, and Damon Che reforming Don Caballero with a new lineup. The Don lose a step without Williams, but the jams themselves remain as firece as ever.
