Part of Wham City, Dan Deacon's Baltimore art-freak collective, Benny Boeldt (aka Adventure) makes cheery 8-bit music for geeks and gamers. During his last NYC performance at the Tank, he brought the bespectacled house down by ending with a chiptune rework of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," leaving the kids begging for more. Tonight, he's backed up by fellow Wham inhabitants Future Islands, whose new synth-driven album, Wave Like Home, is a refreshing update of '80s new-wave sensibilities.
