Since all the best things from the '80s and '90s have found their way back into our hearts (minus the slap bracelets. sigh.), it's no surprise that the mixtape is enjoying more than just its share of anachronistic movie references. Tonight, Williamsburg record haven Sound Fix hosts the Fix Tape Exchange, a monthly themed mixtape/CD exchange, wherein participants bring at least one mix to exchange with a stranger — this time focusing on songs about traveling. And feel free to bring multiple copies — after a few of the drink specials, you'll be extolling the wonders of Bob Dylan's "Mozambique" with fellow music nerds and new best friends.
