Led by Martyn Jacques in menacing facial makeup that's a cross between an evil clown and a commedia dell'arte character, the Tiger Lillies craft songs about vagrants, criminals, and prostitutes with a light touch and wicked grin. Just in time for Halloween, the alt-cabaret icons celebrate their 20th anniversary with a greatest-hits mashup. Expect tunes from their Oliver Award-winning show Shockheaded Peter and Grammy-nominated album The Gorey End, a collaborative tribute with the Kronos Quartet for the celebrated macabre artist that features such gems as "Dreadful Domesticity."
