Brothers Bryce and Aaron Dessner take a break from recording the latest National album to perform a new multimedia work in collaboration with visual artist Matthew Richie. In just over an hour, The Long Count tackles such heady ideas as the beginning of time through myth, songs, and raw orchestral power. They're joined on stage by indie rock royalty Kim Deal and her sister Kelley of the Breeders, My Brightest Diamond's Shara Worden (recently featured on the Decemberist's epic Hazards of Love), and the deep baritone of National lead singer Matt Beringer.
