Artlog.com and Brooklyn Arts Council are trick-or-treating early this year, and in lieu of candy, they're on the hunt for art. Collect Dumbo is their one-night, Halloween-themed art crawl through DUMBO. Many of the area's galleries open their doors, and there's a special Down Under Goat's Gruff Bridge video installation in the recently opened archway beneath the Manhattan Bridge. Art-inspired costumes are recommended, special Halloween drinks are served at area bars, and when all is said and done, there's a dance party at the UnderWater Lounge. This treat should prove better than a sugar high for arthounds, and it definitely won't leave you with dentist bills.
