The Love Hangover Showcase is the brainchild of musician Richard Alwyn, who organized the first "hangover" in 2000 while living in Raleigh, North Carolina. Tonight celebrates his tenth year pairing up musicians to perform duets that shed light on the crazy, funny, maddening, and beautiful ways love affects us — songs for lovebirds and the lovesick alike. The impressively eclectic lineup includes Guided by Voices lead guitarist Doug Gillard, Blue Man Group musician Jeff Freling, and violinist Margaret White, who's played with Belle and Sebastian and Yo La Tengo. Bring your soulmate, or find a sympathetic indie soul in the crowd.
