Veteran choreographer Trisha Brown brings Glacial Decoy, her famed 1979 collaboration with artist Robert Rauschenberg, to the Brooklyn Academy of Music on a bill that includes a 2004 commission by the Paris Opera Ballet and the world premiere of L'Amour au Theatre. Set to Jean-Philippe Rameau's baroque music, the piece is a precursor for an opera Brown will direct in Paris next year. This eclectic program is handled with aplomb by the universally strong company, whose dancers possess a natural fluidity that highlights themes of human entanglements.
