After an insane (and frankly, unforgettable) showing at McCarren Park Pool (RIP) last summer, King Khan and his Shrines are back to make the city just a bit more gritty. The 11-piece wailing shitshow of organs, brass, crass, go-go dancing, and good old rock 'n soul hits the Music Hall tonight, and Khan even gets help from his sometimes-partner Mark Sultan. Perhaps better known as BBQ, the solemn, turbaned guitar-slinger in the King Khan & BBQ Show, Sultan joins the giddy onstage mayhem along with Soul Clap DJ Mr. Jonathan Toubin.
