In March of 2005, filmmaker Michael Dorian traveled to Italy to capture the prodigious skills, drama, and intrigue of the 14th annual World Pizza Championship. No joke. But Dorian's examination of America's favorite food went beyond choreographed dough-slinging acrobatics — check some footage of the US Pizza Team's expertise for evidence of that — and features commentary from such cheesy experts as Mario Batali. Tonight, Dorian hosts a screening of Pizza! The Movie, and celebrates that labor of love with drinks, DJs, and plenty of that crusty muse with Pizza! the Party.
