That's "tapas," not "topless" — a vital distinction if you're inviting friends by phone to this evening's Flamenco-Tapas Dinner. Monkey Town tonight breaks out a menu of Spanish small plates with several highlights: classic gambas al ajillo, a gazpacho with crab, and veal meatballs (albondigas de ternera). Meanwhile, the Jaleo dance group performs passionate flamenco music and dance around the dining room. Also using the four projectors and screens, the troupe goes back in time to explore Carl Jung's theories on the evolution of the human psyche. Because nothing pairs with escalavida Catalana like some good analytical psychology.
