To us, mini golf conjures blissful childhood memories — and a few temper tantrums — and we're going to relive them all summer long with the Putting Lot. Of course, this being Brooklyn, there's a very adult, alt twist: the nine holes are built in an abandoned lot in Bushwick, and each hole is a winning commission from a different artist or architect, emphasizing sustainability and urban renewal. Plus, we're extremely proud that one of the Lot's volunteer organizers is our own Daily Dose maestro, Eli Dvorkin. Even if you're not a mini-golf fan (what?!), you can pull up a lawn chair, grab a bite from the snack shack, and reconsider this "abandoned" space.
