David Byrne kicks off the Celebrate Brooklyn concert series with a show similar to his Radio City performance in February. For those who missed that show, expect a mix of Talking Heads classics and songs from last year's Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, a collaboration with his old pal Brian Eno. Best described as "folk-electronic-gospel," these rousing songs, exemplified in the anthemic "One Fine Day," show both men at the top of their game. Celebrate Brooklyn's shows are known for their surprises (such as when Maceo Parker brought Prince on stage), and Byrne is as much a master showman as a musician — so a special guest or two isn't out of the question.
