The Bell House- says…

Beer in America has always had trouble shaking its image as the everyman's beverage, a utilitarian drink that best paired with pizza and a burger. While other countries have long-standing relationships with beer that have elevated brewing to the level of an art-form, America, long dominated by the ubiquitous Bud, is slowly coming to terms with the idea of beer meaning more than a cheap drunk. This struggle between the legions of independent breweries springing up across America, and the market dominance of the Anheuser-Busch brands is the very subject of Beer Wars, which follows the owners of Dogfish Head and Sam Adams as they go toe-to-toe with that largest and most powerful brewery in the United States. After the screening, stick around for a beer-and-cheese pairing by Garrett Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery that will leave the oenophile in you astounded by the mighty power of the hop.
