Brooklyn Bowl is proud to announce the release of its complete menu with food by Blue Ribbon. On August 4, 2009, the partnership between Brooklyn Bowl and Blue Ribbon Restaurants comes to fruition with the unveiling of the culinary comforts and slightly twisted tastes of Brooklyn Bowl's much anticipated full service menu. To celebrate the occasion, Eric Krasno & Chapter two will perform a special free show at 9:00pm.
THE FOOD
The fare is high quality southern inspired comfort favorites with a side of culinary whimsy, the likes of which might find hot sauce in your cocktail and pulled pork on your pizza. Signature fried chicken dinners and platters to taste are flanked by apps and finger foods, fresh salads, French bread pizza, signature sandwiches (veggie and carnivore), Po Boys, and BBQ inspired entrees.
THE BOWL
Brooklyn Bowl is NYC's stand-out new bowling facility with a state-of-the-art 16-lane bowling alley and 600 capacity performance venue attached to a full service restaurant with food by Blue Ribbon. Founded by Peter Shapiro and Charley Ryan, former Owner and General Manager of eco-activism center slash rock club Wetlands Preserved, Brooklyn Bowl employed green building practices for L.E.E.D, bottle-less beer service, and energy efficient pin spotters to provide an extravagant experience with a minimal carbon footprint.
THE SERVICE
Blue Ribbon Restaurants is helmed by a celebrated team of brothers, Eric & Bruce Bromberg, who currently own and operate 6 highly rated eateries in Manhattan: Blue Ribbon Brasserie, Blue Ribbon Sushi, Blue Ribbon Bakery, Downing Street Bar, Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill, and Blue Ribbon Bakery Market; and 3 in Brooklyn: Blue Ribbon Brasserie, Blue Ribbon Sushi, and now Brooklyn Bowl!
