When the Wurst Music Co. gets together for its annual barbeque, you can count on two things: disco and sausages. The disco goes live this year, with performances by Brooklyn two-piece Tanlines, new DFA signees Q&A, and the enormously entertaining Phenomenal Handclap Band (the only band we know that can actually pull off bell-bottoms). Wurst DJs Brennan Green, My Cousin Roy, and Runaway jump in with obscure dance-floor classics, re-edits, and originals, while Sal P of Liquid Liquid runs around as master of ceremonies. As for the sausages, which are grilled up and sold all afternoon, don't think they've settled for regular old franks — nothing but awesomely greasy bratwurst is good enough for Wurst.
