Forward-thinking foodies Suzanne Barr (Sweet Potato Bakery) and Sarah Pace (Rabbit Mafia catering) are the chefs behind this cool supper club series. The New Deal offers three courses of gourmet raw cuisine at recession-level prices. Basically, it's the perfect dinner option for these dog days of summer, when the mere thought of turning on the stove makes us sweat. Tonight, the menu includes a chilled watermelon-mint soup, two ceviche options (one for vegans and one for seafood eaters), and a raw stone-fruit pie. The best part: cocktails from 44 North vodka start off the meal.
