The Debate Society's (Hannah Bos, Paul Thureen, Michael Cyril Creighton, Oliver Butler) concoction of misfires is a fast-moving hour of genuine theatre fun. The advertised "cycle of bad plays" includes two contemporary drawing room dramas, a reading about a monster truck race, a collection of ghost stories, and an educational presentation. The frequent and calibrated laughs arise from special effect overkill, big production numbers, and bad writing excuted to "perfection."
