Sole, known as one of the godfathers of abstract hip hop and founding member of the Anticon label, has recorded one of his most ambitious yet accessible albums to date with 2009'sPlastique. Backed by The Skyrider Band, Sole's brand of wit packed, radical and dense lyricism is perfectly accompanied by The Skyrider Band's subtle, layered post-rock-hop compositions.
