“From the Mexicali maniacs who brought you Guactacular and Guac Roc comes an equally mouthwatering event: Salsa Slam. Today, 20 self-proclaimed salsa gurus compete for best in show, and you're the judge (along with some pros, like the founder of the Brooklyn Salsa Co, and Serious Eats Food Lab scientist — and personal hero — Kenji Alt-Lopez). If you think you have the cojones to win this competition, there are still a few spots open. Otherwise, come with an empty stomach and a cleansed palate and be ready to chow down.”

Every year we plan our hearts out for Guactacular, then it comes and goes and we have to wait another year for the fun of Guacamole and strangers. So we decided to end that pain by adding another awesome event to make your tastebuds tingle. SALSA SLAM.
