“The Rumpus, culture blog run by Stephen Elliott (The Adderall Diaries), is hosting yet another spectacular variety show with high-caliber performers. We'd come out for Michael Showalter alone. But with fellow comedian Jessi Klein performing, and Hilton Als of The New Yorker, Sara Marcus (Girls to the Front: The True Story of the Riot Grrrl Revolution), and Nick Flynn (The Ticking Is the Bomb) reading, we can't miss it. There's a special musical guest lined up too, because, well, it just wouldn't be a Rumpus event without one. And it's a Monday night. We dare you to find something better going on.”
