“Running concurrent with the New York Film Festival (at Lincoln Center), WILLiFEST promises the best shorts and features the borough — and the world — has to offer. A few venues, including the Knitting Factory, the recently opened IndieScreen, and Shangri-la Studio screen acclaimed docs and features alongside student shorts and music videos. The best part is that at just $20 each, day-long passes are much cheaper than tix to the NYFF across the river. Be sure to check the prodigious schedule for the full list of films, plus afterparties, musical performances, and a special Moth StorySLAM.”
The Williamsburg International Film Festival is the film component of WILLiFEST. The film and music festivals are opportunities for artists to enhance their career by exposing their film and music to an influential audience, gaining crucial media exposure and strengthening industry relationships. Additionally, there will be a StorySlam event presented in partnership with The Moth organization as well as photo exhibits by the nation's premiere jazz and rock-n-roll photographers.
