“The 2010 Cockabilly Roadshow has been making its way up and down the East Coast all summer providing burlesque, rock music and sideshow performances that cater to prurient tastes of all varieties. This weekend the show stops at venues in Coney Island with Guitar Bomb on Friday live at Cha Cha's on the Boardwalk; Sean Kershaw and the New Jack Ramblers live on the outdoor stage on Saturday; and the Mallard Drakes on the outdoor stage on Sunday. On Monday Eddie Dickfingers hosts the 2010 Miss Pin Up Coney Island Contest, which promises "Infamy! Notoriety!" and "Cash Prize!" And while the sideshow happens all weekend at regular intervals throughout the day, there's a special added performance by The Squidling Bros Circus Sideshow Saturday at 10pm, which features "sick humor" and "feats of the human body" hosted by "natural born weirdo" Jelly Boy T. Clown. We're not going to explain that. You just have to see it. And, no. Victorian sideshows are not a thing of the past.”
