“After getting their guaranteed-awesome fest doused by Irene this summer, the folks at Afro-punk are taking no prisoners at CMJ. Their "Death to Hip-Hop" showcase features NYC party-starters Ninjasonik and Cerebral Ballzy, '70s punk pioneers Death, hip-hoppers (the only who were allowed in, we guess?) Jersey Klan, and DJ Stack-Aly. The ticket price is worth it just for a chance to see Death, so hop to it.”
