“Rub elbows with your favorite writers and thinkers at one of Brooklyn's best alternative literary festivals, the third annual PAGE TURNER: The Asian American Literary Festival. include Amitav Ghosh, Junot Díaz, Min Jin Lee, Kimiko Hahn, Amitava Kumar, Hari Kunzru, Teju Cole, and many others. Festivities begin with an anniversary brunch and conclude the evening with a stage reading to honor the recipient of this year's Asian American Lifetime Achievement Award, Jessica Hagedorn. And don't miss the panel at noon on Occupy Wall Street with Mark Nowak, Monica Youn, and Dora Calott Wang hosted by Guernica. Afterwards, head ot the awards party at Verso Press (8-11pm) where Suketu Mehta and Jennifer 8. Lee join the celebration.”
