“Puff pasties are no joke to Chef Sebastien, the Parisian export who has set up his cozy shop known as La Table Exquise along a tree-lined street in Bed Stuy. This neighborhood favorite offers a very generous brunch each Sunday — a modification of the all-you-can-eat summer buffet with a specially priced menu with staggered prix fixe options, like caramelized french toast or blueberry pancakes for $5.50. Overseen by the watchful eye of the perfectionist chef himself, whose hospitality enlivens the space. And while the brunch is great, we recommend saving room for dessert, as Chef Sebastien's sugarless chocolate ganache tart is some of the best around.”
