Screening as part of the Brooklyn Film Festival, filmmaker Anna Kerrigan's debut effort, Five Days Gone, is a poetic, witty look at sibling relationships and class, sex, and drug politics. The film follows Camden, who is determined to bond with her half-sister Alice, who she's just met following the death of their father. Of course, the two are entirely different and come from divergent backgrounds (one in wealth, another in near poverty), and Alice isn't even sure she wants this new relationship. But a trip to the family estate in the Berkshires forces the sisters together, for better or for worse.
