“It all began when the guys behind Kings County Distillery visited the Mast Brothers Chocolate factory. The purveyors of artisanal Brooklyn moonshine saw the chocolatiers giving away the chocolate husk grounds that are a by-product of making chocolate and were struck with an idea. Why not infuse their signature moonshine with this chocolately flotsam? Et voilà! A year later, the Secret Recipe Chocolate Whiskey is here, and released in limited batches for avid early adopters. To get in on the experimental release, stop by Greene Grape, Heights Chateau, Brooklyn Oenology, among many others, and pick up a nifty bottle or two. Serve this neat, as a dessert. It's a good look.”
