“You may have caught Cory Arcangel's multi-media installation ProTools at the Whitney last year. Well now, you can hear the artist jamming along with his artist and writer buddies Howie Chen (known for his sound installations), and Alan Licht (writer) in a musical ensemble called Title TK, a band described as a cross between David Antin and Spinal Tap. You can here them chatting about Judas Priest and performing on Bennett4Senate's Awesome New Place show on WFMU here, and come out and see them live tonight at ISSUE Project Room, which having just hosted filmmaker Jim Jarmusch on guitar with Jozef Van Wissem, has become something of a home for the high caliber cross-pollination showcase. Joining them are improvisational noise band Architeuthis Walks on Land.”
