Want to sell your idea or design? A napkin sketch won't cut it! You need to provide your client with a tight drawing. However, all the fancy software available is expensive and difficult to learn. Enter: SketchUp! It's Google's ridiculously easy to use program for drawing your idea!
We will be establishing the fundamental skills that allow you to accurately produce 2D (orthographic) and 3D (isometric) drawings for client presentations or your own work in product, furniture or interior design. The focus of this class will be for you to hone a work flow based on best practices in Sketchup. Beginners to Intermediate welcome.
This two-session class will take place in our Media Lab, equipped with fully-loaded iMac design workstations. Basic computer literacy is required for this course.
