The coordinates of this exhibit are vague, yet titillating. All we know is it was "conceived abroad," "elaborated over the course of a very white night," was made possible, in part, by the "dynastic reach of Dutch Triumvirate," and is "predicated upon rumors and secrets... and the momentous removal of shrouds." But is the Roman Abramovich who made this possible the Russian businessman by the same name? Is there any relation to performance czarina Marina Abramovic? And how many unveilings will there be? Whatever is uncovered, Courtesy Roman Abramovich: The First Unveiling has filled us with questions that need answers. And we're intrigued not only for the exhibit, but for its being held in the apartment of one Paul D'Agostino, who runs one of a few good galleries in Bushwick that operate this way. Make sure to get there at 8pm for the unveiling, at which point the riddle wrapped in mystery inside an enigma may become clear.
