In this two session workshop, you will be creating your own fabric by sewing together layers of fabric scraps using a wash-away stabilizer. Your custom fabric will be applied to sculptural shapes or delicate accessories. No sewing experience is required. In the first class you’ll learn the technique, make your own fabric, and design how it will be applied to your chosen project. In our second class you will continue developing the skill and complete a project by using your hand made fabric. This is a great technique to learn for all textile enthusiasts who are looking to broaden their skill set.
