BAM is one of our very favorite cultural institutions in Brooklyn — and not only because it's within walking distance from our apartment. We've seen incredible programming here across almost every genre, from dance and theatre to music, film, and straight-up parties. BAM draws marquee names from all of these worlds, which makes for intriguing staging and appearances from folks like Laurie Anderson, Lynn Redgrave, Alan Rickman, Pina Bausch, Pedro Almodovar, Colum McCann, and tons more.
