Whether it’s a free Monday showcase of top local talent, a buzzed-about indie-rock draw, or some German doom-jazz-house legend who probably would’ve never stepped foot in the Midwest if not for the Bottle, this Ukrainian Village spot’s commitment to underground music is so thorough, we often take it for granted. Bookers put on good shows at Logan Square Auditorium, the Congress, and other venues, but it’s tough to beat the friendly confines of the home base. The drink selection is extensive and cheap. So go, dance, meet, and don’t forget to raise a glass to Radley.
