Heavily influenced by William Forsythe's sexy deconstructionism, former Alvin Ailey member Dwight Rhoden and beloved star dancer Desmond Richardson aim to turn up the volume and trim the fat. The 16 company dancers, pros all, are put through paces that would seem show-offy if they weren't having so much fun. Baroquely detailed arms and hyper-mobile legs execute a manic blur of material, over a soundtrack encompassing everything from Depeche Mode to Vivaldi. Subtlety is not the show's strength (nor is it a goal), but the steps are unpredictable and fresh, and these bodies were built for nothing else.
