Artist/musician Jeremy Boyle takes on installation with an invigorating, stylized approach. His "self-playing instruments" consist of an elaborately wired, MIDI-controlled guitar that strums a strange tune while a drum kit keeps up the beat without a band member in sight. The exhibition also features a circular, rotating video screen and live performances by guitarist Todd Mattei at 9:30pm. Boyle's innovative designs and performances have been seen all over the globe — his next solo show is slated for the Hudson Franklin Gallery in New York.
