They say the Internet killed the art of joke-telling, but tonight's Jokes and Java program should prove 'em wrong. Local standups, storytellers, and quipsters each bring one rehearsed joke to perform and one written joke for the "joke o' plenty" grab bag. Classics ("A polar bear, a giraffe, and a penguin walk into a bar…"), standards ("How many surrealists does it take to change a light bulb?"), puns ("Why did the golfer wear two pairs of pants?"), and your very own comic inventions are welcome. The library provides the coffee, but this program is for adults only and registration is required.
