Graphic-designer-turned-painter Cody Hudson makes a splash with the most recent in a series of MCA 12 x 12 solo shows, There Ain't No Bottomless Pit Here, This Is F**king Magic Man, and We're All Part of It Together, which comprises paintings, drawings, and installation art. Hudson never fails to dazzle his audience with brightly colored anamorphic shapes, clever text, gracefully drawn balloons, and tantalizing street installations; skateboard culture, graffiti, pop music, and his graphic-design company (Struggle Inc.) each play a significant role in developing his sleek sensibility across media.
